Craft House Coffee roasts at Park Farm in Wivelsfield Green, near Haywards Heath. Coffee is roasted and hand-packed to order, and the team plays with roasting standards and “the curve” to build its own profiles. At ten every morning, while the drum heats up, the crew cups the day’s coffee before anything leaves the roastery.
Buying favours smallholdings and producers working to improve their farms. Craft House pays a premium, can trace each coffee to the people who grew it, and buys repeat harvests from the same partners: its Colombian El Muro, an espresso from the hills of Nariño, comes from a relationship with the producer Melky Chávez that has run for more than sixteen harvests. The range also includes a sugarcane-process decaf and a half-caf house blend, and the roastery won awards at the Global Coffee Awards in 2025.
Craft House is signed up to the Real Living Wage and gives 1% of all sales to environmental groups through 1% for the Planet. It supports World Coffee Research and Project Waterfall, which brings fresh water to coffee-growing communities, and runs community allotments and roastery exchanges with Living Vital. Most of its bags use recyclable LDPE4 with 30% recycled plastic. Alongside cafés it supplies directly, it runs Craft House Collective, a coffee consultancy for hospitality businesses.
