Pages opened in October 2023 in the city centre, among the colleges, cobbled streets and spires of Cambridge. Its owner, Jasmine, designed the room with Scandinavian-inspired seating, exposed brickwork, terracotta floors and walls hung with work by local artists, and it has been dog-friendly from the start. There is an outdoor courtyard, and the mornings are set aside as laptop-friendly hours.
The espresso is Monmouth Espresso from Monmouth Coffee in London, a medium to dark roast of coffees from Colombia, Guatemala and Brazil, served as everything from a single shot and a long black to a cortado and a flat white. Filter coffee is brewed by hand as pour-over or as flash brew over ice, with a new guest coffee each month. The menu also runs to matcha, chai and beetroot and ginger lattes, a seasonal latte from turmeric to pumpkin spice, Teapigs teas and juices from The Cambridge Juice Company, and every hot drink can be made vegan and gluten-free.
The baked goods arrive daily from Borough Market in London, and the menu carries allergen-friendly options.
