Kaf is an artisanal bakery and coffee shop on a relaxed street in the heart of Nørrebro, with seats under the oak trees outside and a room inside. Everything is made in house and the whole menu is plant-based. Its line is “comfort food ahead of its time”.

The patisserie is built on natural fermentation. A wide selection of sourdough-fermented pastries is baked every day and rotates with the season, and there are cutting cakes alongside. The counter also sells its cheesecakes whole, along with gift cards and the tulip cups and plates the café serves in.

The coffee comes from Saftig Kaffe, a light-roast roastery a few streets away in Nørrebro that is “all about roasting and brewing expressive coffees”, and there is filter coffee and batch brew on the bar. Kaf does not roast; Saftig Kaffe roasts for it.
