Odd Cafe is a plant-based coffee shop, “a little quirky” by its own account, in Salcedo Village, Makati. A second branch is in Ortigas Center, Pasig. The whole menu is plant-based, food and drinks alike.
The coffee list runs from espresso, long black, flat white and latte to cold brew. The pour-over changes every day, with a rotating choice of Odd beans, and decaf is available. The signature drinks are the French Kiss, espresso with vanilla and cinnamon; the Cereal Killer, cereal milk with roasted almonds and espresso; and the Mud Shot, a mocha made with oat milk. Ortigas adds its own Charming Topaz, a half shot of espresso with oat milk, chocolate and mango purée. Almond and soy milk are offered as add-ons.
Beyond coffee there is the Oddchata, a rice-milk horchata with oats and cinnamon, the Tokyo Cloud of black sesame, vanilla and oat milk, iced and hot teas, and a ceremonial-grade matcha series. The all-day kitchen serves pasta, pizzas, pitas stuffed with plant-based meat, sandwiches and kimchi fried rice with plant-based scrambled egg, and a short cocktail list includes an Odd Martini made with a house coffee liqueur.
