Dark Hall Coffee is a coffee shop and pastry bakery in the historic Coronado District of Phoenix, and everything it serves is plant-based.

The coffee is roasted locally by Novela Coffee Roasters. The bar pours a house espresso, americano, cortado, cappuccino, latte, drip and an 18-hour cold brew, with the Black Eye and the Dead Eye adding espresso to cold brew. Milk drinks come with oat, almond, soy or coconut, and the house-made syrups include brown sugar, black mocha, caramel, lavender and vanilla. The VVitch is a deep chocolate mocha with ghost pepper, served in three heat levels from mild to hot. Golden milk, lemonades, loose-leaf teas, hot chocolate and Palestine Cola are on the list too. Whole beans from Novela sell over the counter and online: the Two Spirit blend of Brazilian and Ethiopian coffees, with Novela’s notes of caramel, stone fruit and jasmine, and a rotating single origin, recently Marcala from Honduras, Veil from Nayarit in Mexico and Abejas Gold from Chiapas.

The pastry case runs from scones, muffins and mini quiches to millionaire shortbread, brownies, macarons, Skull Babies and cookies, some of them gluten-free, and the bakery takes special orders. Novela Coffee Roasters roasts the coffee Dark Hall serves.
