Under Pressure Espresso opened as a small coffee shop in Sutton Coldfield in 2014. In 2020 it added an in-house roastery, and its coffee now goes out under the name The Coffee Wizards, roasted at the shop every Monday and sold there and online.

The green coffee comes through importers including Raw Material, Osito, Primavera and Omwani. Two coffees are roasted specifically for espresso, which keeps the recipe for the shop’s espresso drinks fairly constant, and the decaf, a sugarcane-processed Colombian, is an omni roast for every brewing method. The filter roasts are single lots from producers, cooperatives and washing stations in Ethiopia, Kenya, Uganda, Colombia, Brazil and Guatemala, each sold with its producer, altitude, importer and roast date. Beans are sold whole and can be ground to order.
