For The Saints is an espresso bar in Montpellier, Cheltenham, run by JM Socials, the restaurant group of the friends Jay and Michael, which also runs Prithvi, Bhoomi Kitchen and BAO + BBQ in the town. It serves “coffee, paninis, cakes or a little tipple if required”.

The coffee comes from Quarter Horse Coffee, an independent roaster in the West Midlands, and the baristas make it on a Modbar. The caffè menu runs from espresso and long black to filter coffee served black or white, flat white, cappuccino and latte. The menu also lists frappés, iced coffees and an affogato poured with a double espresso.

The kitchen makes its pastas, salads, pizzas and toasted dishes in house and changes them from week to week, next to Italian-style sandwiches. Pastries come from The Artisan Baker, brownies from Hetty’s Brownies and cake slices from Sisu Pancakes, with scotch eggs and sausage rolls from The Cotswold Guy. There is seating upstairs.

As the day goes on, the bar turns to aperitivi: Italian-inspired cocktails such as the Sbagliato, a coffee negroni and a coffee limoncello, alongside wine, prosecco and Italian beers.
