The Coffee Tree

The Coffee Tree is a café in Derry city centre with a full menu of New Kid Coffee, roasted across the border in Letterkenny. New Kid’s chief roaster, Keith, won the Irish Brewers Cup in 2022. The milk comes from The Milk Bar in Carrigans, which produces pasteurised milk that is neither homogenised nor standardised.

Two pastry chefs, Abi and Mimmi, make the café’s bakes. Breakfast runs to overnight oats, granola pots and açaí bowls, and there are salads and doorstop sandwiches. Matcha and hojicha come from the Dublin brand Mafia Matcha, and the autumn drinks include a toffee apple latte. The menu is also available for delivery through Just Eat.
