Zgoda Café is the Nowa Huta sister of Szklarnia, the Kleparz café, on a housing estate in Kraków’s eastern district. It serves coffee, baking and sandwiches, and all of it is plant-based. The café opened in 2023 together with the Joga Centrum Nova Huta yoga studio, and the cakes come from Damka, the sister bakery that bakes for all three cafés.
Coffee is the centre of the events calendar. Guest roasters come to cup at the big table. A summer series of coffee workshops ran with Maciej Hura, a Q grader who teaches under the name “(nie)pali się”.
The menu adds lunch bowls assembled by Damka, seasonal and built around things like cashew ricotta, green beans, caramelised apricot and salad leaves from a local grower. The room also hosts matcha and alcohol-free tastings and painting workshops.
