People Possession is a Paris roaster whose coffees come in custom-designed aluminium cans, under the line “Radical sourcing, superior roasting”. Its manifesto is written as a survival guide to drinking coffee, with rule one “Bring.Your.Own.Beans.” Lids are sold separately in random designs, to collect.

Its coffees include single lots from Colombia, Panama, Ethiopia, Peru, Guatemala and China with blends such as Blueberry Pie Magic and Prime Flavor Experience. Essential Standards is a minimal range in plain cans, “0% Design. 100% Possession.”, and the Industrial Supply Series comes in loud warning-label packaging. Most coffees are roasted for filter, some for espresso, and many are co-fermented with fruit or wine yeast. Immersion bags made with Sibarist hold three of its coffees in 13g doses.

Collaborations make up a large part of the calendar. In 2026 People Possession roasted a two-part release with Fellow, named Elysium and Arcadia, whose brew profiles were loaded into Fellow’s Series 1 espresso machine and Aiden brewer; a Colombian filter for A-1 Records in New York’s East Village; and a Colombia and Costa Rica blend sold with a T-shirt alongside Lodestar in Hackney. In October 2025 it released six cans for six Dayglow neighbourhoods, filled with a nitrogen-fermented Caturra from Finca Milán.

The coffees are sold online and through a network of cafés and shops in Europe, Asia, the Americas and Oceania.
